Custom curved counter tops in solid hardwood allows the wood grain to flow with the curve of the counter top. The proprietary Extreme Wood Bending (Compression Bending) techniques at Fluted Beams LLC allow solid hardwood planks 1.5" to 6" thick and up to 6" wide to be bent into solid curved countertops. Contractor pricing starts at $120 sq ft (Ash, Oak, Beech) for 1 1/2" thick tops with square footage based on a best fit rectangle around the curved bar top.
Matching straight counter tops can also be provided and the pricing is about 65% to 80% of the cost of the curved countertops.
